I am an entrepreneur, author, and consultant, helping professional services organisations use social technologies to engage staff, collaborate more effectively and improve productivity.
I spent over 10 years in senior positions at WPP communications consultancy H+K Strategies applying digital and social innovations to improve internal communication and collaboration. As well as advising clients such as HP, HSBC, LG and Microsoft, I was the architect of the firm’s industry-leading global thought leadership platform, Collective Conversation, the company-wide roll out of Yammer, and a variety of local digital and social collaboration initiatives.
An accomplished thinker and speaker on social technologies, I have presented at public and private events all over the world, and in 2008 I wrote one of the first books on the impact of social software in the workplace, Enterprise 2.0, which has been cited in over 200 academic books and papers.
I am also the co-founder of the social media benchmarking company Sociagility, and am currently studying for a masters degree at the UEA Business School.
